For more than 20 years, he served in the United States Air Force in various roles focused on counter-terrorism and force protection at locations around the globe. During this time Adam saw firsthand how investing in critical infrastructure and information security contributed to mission success by ensuring safe and secure facilities and information systems.
After retiring from the military in 2009 Adam worked in the intelligence community where he leveraged his education and experience in various roles, again focused on counter-terrorism and intelligence. While in the intel community he observed the rapid growth of cyber threats and their ability to wreak havoc on operations and organizations.
In 2013 Adam made a 180 degree career change and taught history and criminal justice courses at both the high school and collegiate levels. Over his thirty-year professional journey he attained several graduate degrees in Criminal Justice/Homeland Security and History. When he is not working, Adam likes to spend his time outdoors with family, traveling, reading, and staying current on world events.

After her migration to a new city that remains smaller in size with minimal opportunities in the education sector, she decided to try a new industry vertical and finally landed in the IT industry. Her counseling experience helped her become one of the best team members for client acquisition, as she could clearly understand the client’s perspective.
From there, her tech journey went on, where she donned multiple hats, from Project Manager to Product Owner to Entrepreneur to Marketing Head. Currently, she is helping the Secureflo Team with various marketing strategy implementations as well as Staff Augmentation Solutions and taking each day at a time and continuing to contribute towards organizational growth.
